Trax, a leading global provider of aviation maintenance and engineering software, has expanded its partnership with WestJet Airlines, supporting the airline’s digital transformation through mobile and paperless solutions. For more than 20 years, Trax has been a key player in WestJet’s maintenance operations, and this latest transition further modernizes the airline’s fleet management.
WestJet has now adopted Trax’s web-based eMRO system, along with eMobility apps, all hosted on Trax Cloud. This transition allows WestJet’s maintenance teams to access key information, manage tasks, and view real-time updates on any mobile device from any location. In addition, Trax’s QuickTurn, TaskControl, and Line Control apps have been integrated to optimize efficiency and ensure that maintenance tasks are handled quickly and accurately.
Trax’s solutions are designed to streamline maintenance workflows, enhance mobility, and improve user experience. The implementation of Trax’s paperless systems is expected to reduce paperwork, improve compliance, and allow WestJet to focus on maintaining its fleet and serving customers more effectively.
“Trax has been a trusted partner since 2004,” said Omar Santos, Vice President at Trax. “We are proud to be part of WestJet’s ongoing digital transformation journey, providing tools that allow the airline to modernize its operations and meet the demands of the aviation industry.”
WestJet’s Vice President of Technical Operations, Gandeephan Ganeshalingam, also praised the partnership: “With Trax’s cloud-based systems, we can focus on what we do best – maintaining our fleet and ensuring quality service for our customers. This transition to digital will drive operational excellence as we continue to grow.”
