Air Botswana has announced the launch dates for its new routes connecting Botswana and South Africa, marking a significant expansion of its network. The move aims to enhance flight connectivity within Southern Africa and offer passengers more flexibility.

Starting 1 October, the Gaborone-Durban route will operate on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. From 1 November, three additional routes will commence: Maun-Cape Town (Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays), Kasane-Mpumalanga (Wednesdays, Fridays, Sundays), and Kasane-Cape Town (Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays).

The airline is also increasing frequencies on existing routes and reinstating some previously suspended during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This network expansion is expected to boost economic activities in the region, particularly benefiting Botswana’s tourism and business sectors.
