AVIATION AFRICA 2024 EVENT RISES TO NEW HEIGHTS

The 8th Aviation AFRICA Summit & Exhibition is set to reach unprecedented heights, cementing its status as the continent’s premier annual gathering for the commercial air transport industry. Scheduled to take place at the Sandton Convention Centre in Gauteng, South Africa, on September 16th and 17th, 2024, this year’s event promises to be the largest yet.

“Times Aerospace Events is delighted with the exhibitor, delegate, and speaker demand for Aviation AFRICA 2024, which is officially hosted by the Government of South Africa and the Ministry of Transport, led by the South African Civil Aviation Authority,” said Mark Brown, CEO of Times Aerospace Events. “This is the first time the event has taken place in South Africa, and it comes at an important time as the country recovers and rebuilds from the turbulence of the past few years.”

Supported by the Commercial Aviation Association of Southern Africa (CAASA) and the Airlines Association of Southern Africa (AASA), the event is expected to be a sell-out. Major sponsors like Airbus, Boeing, Embraer, Rolls-Royce, and De Havilland will have a strong presence alongside significant new participants such as the Government of Gabon and ATS Technic of the United Arab Emirates.

“Aviation AFRICA 2024 includes some exciting new features, such as the co-location of the African Business Aircraft Association’s Annual General Meeting. We are delighted to welcome AfBAA to the show,” explained Brown.

This year’s summit will feature a high-level array of speakers from across Africa and beyond, focusing on the theme ‘Bridging Skies and Leveraging Growth’. The two-day event will bring together leaders from the region’s airlines, regulators, airports, OEMs, and companies across the entire support and supply chain.
