South African Airways unveils a luxurious new premium lounge at Gqeberha’s Chief Dawid Stuurman Airport, offering exclusive amenities for elite travellers.
South African Airways (SAA) proudly announces the grand reopening of The Lounge at Chief Dawid Stuurman International Airport in Gqeberha, thanks to a collaboration with Discovery and Investec Bank Ltd.
This revamped premium lounge in Gqeberha follows the recent unveiling of the upgraded Platinum and Premium lounges at Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International Airport’s international departure terminal.
Positioned on the first-floor mezzanine in the domestic departures area, The Lounge offers superb coffee crafted by skilled baristas using La Marzocco espresso machines, a selection of premium South African wines, and a variety of exquisite meals.
“Our beautifully renovated lounges, provide an opportunity for our premium travellers to enjoy SAA’s award-winning brand of hospitality on the ground, as well as in the skies,” says SAA Interim CCO, Tebogo Tsimane.
“With South Africans increasingly returning to the skies over the past few years, it’s clear that many are looking for more comfortable airport experiences as they wait to board their flights.”
