NIGERIA’S FALCON AERO EYES GLOBAL BUSINESS AVIATION MARKET, SHOWCASES AT INVESTING IN AFRICA CONFERENCE

Nigerian business aviation firm Falcon Aerospace is gearing up for significant global expansion, with its participation in the upcoming Investing in Africa Conference (AFSIC) in London from October 7th to 9th, 2024. AFSIC, the largest Africa-focused investment event outside of the continent, provides a prime platform for Falcon Aero to showcase its services and secure investments for further growth.

As a sponsor of the event, Falcon Aero will have an exhibition space and be actively networking, positioning itself as a rising star in the African business aviation sector. The company’s CEO, Chukwuerika Achum, will deliver a presentation on Africa’s business aviation landscape and its critical role in driving economic growth and connectivity.

“Falcon Aero is committed to the vision of a prosperous Africa. To actualize this vision, there must be seamless connectivity of people, ideas, and culture within and beyond the continent. We believe in the power of business aviation to facilitate this connectivity across borders,” Achum stated.

Falcon Aero’s growth trajectory aligns with the expansion of Africa’s business aviation market, which is currently valued at $1.09 billion. This market is expected to nearly double, reaching $2.14 billion by 2030, driven by an 11.98% compound annual growth rate (CAGR). The growing demand for private aviation services across Africa is positioning Falcon Aero as a key player in this rapidly evolving sector.

Tejumade Salami, Falcon Aero’s Chief Operating Officer, remarked on the company’s remarkable growth: “In the past two years, Falcon Aero has experienced phenomenal growth. Our goal from the outset was to democratize business aviation by making it more accessible and affordable, without compromising on luxury, efficiency, and safety.”

Falcon Aero’s operations have expanded beyond Nigeria, and the company is now seeking investment partners to fuel its global expansion. “We are proud of our progress and excited to explore new investment opportunities to accelerate our growth,” Salami added.

AFSIC is expected to attract over 1,500 influential investors, dealmakers, and business leaders from across the globe, with more than 350 speakers sharing insights into Africa’s economic transformation and investment opportunities from over 40 African nations.

Falcon Aero offers a variety of aviation services, including private jet charters, aircraft maintenance, sales, and fractional ownership. The company’s portfolio includes Vivajets, a private aviation service provider; Charterxe, a digital booking platform; and FlyPJX, a charter per-seat platform.

“Innovation and technology have been critical to our success. We are developing digital solutions that enhance the booking and travel experience for our customers,” said Basil Agbor, Falcon Aero’s Head of Products and Innovation. “As we prepare for the AFSIC, we look forward to meeting investors who share our vision for advancing the private aviation industry.”
